Waistline Trimmer Abdominal Exercise Ball Workout: Difficulty, 1; lower back, 2. Lie on your back with your heels atop an exercise ball, knees bent. Clasp your hands behind your head lightly, elbows pointing sideways. Exhale and slowly lift your left shoulder toward your right hip. Again, the ball will move slightly, engaging your leg muscles to keep it from rolling away. Slowly lower, and return to starting position. When you lower, only come back down to just above your shoulder blades. Now slowly lift your right shoulder toward your left hip. Continue alternating sides. Each alternating side equals one rep.
