Health and Nutrition
There are two important things we need to consider in our lifetime: our health and nutrition. If we want to live long and enjoy our lives, then this two should be part of our main concerns. With good health and nutrition comes happy, energetic personality for us. We can also say goodbye to sickness and diseases. If you want to live a long life, then you should also take care of your health and nutrition. Nutrition refers to how much nutrients you take in per meal, and how good or beneficial they are for your body. Health is your over-all well-being. Your health greatly affects your disposition and your moods. Each of us must remember that our body requires a specific amount of nutrients to be able to remain a healthy body and mind. The nutrients serve as the body’s fuel to accomplish our everyday activities. Eating nutritious and healthy foods require eating vegetables and fruits. Greens provide our body with vitamins which has effects such as better eyesight, glowing skin and protection from flu and other diseases. It is also important to give your body the right amount of carbohydrates and protein. Drinking a lot of water everyday will also benefit our body and will keep it healthy. Water does not only quench our thirst, but it also flushes out toxins from our body. Making drinking water a habit will benefit a person more because it also serves as a metabolism enhancer. Water also reduces hunger attacks, so we won’t tend to over eat. Sometimes we grab cakes, chocolates or ice cream when we are hungry. These foods, when eaten in large amounts will increase our weight drastically. It will also increase our sugar level. When you eat, always remember to eat in moderation. Too much of something or everything is bad for your health and diet. You would also earn more pounds if you do not watch what you are eating. Unhealthy eating might also result to diseases. Too much fat in the body might result to heart problems and artery clogging. Too much salt will also damage the kidneys in the long term. To take care of your health, you must also take part in physical activities. Exercise is beneficial for the body because unwanted fat and wastes go out through perspiration. Also, it increases the body’s energy and agility. If you want to enjoy your life the best way you can, then you must maintain a balanced nutritious diet. You will be able to take part in different activities without easily getting tired.
